Just a quick heads up guys.
We know there is an update patch coming this Tuesday (Feb. 9th). Bungie likes to patch during the day so their engineers are present in the office.
We know the patch will include at least two bug fixes for the King's Fall raid (teleporting Ogres and camera issue for runners) and other things not yet discussed for the "February Update".
We don't know if there will be additional bug fixes for any part of the game, or more importantly, new loot or improved loot for the raid or Nightfall.
There's been a high volume of complaints about Nightfall rewards, so they may be improved based on that feedback.
New exotics could be added from year 1 or unreleased exotics may be added with the patch. (Warlock boots, anyone?)
Loot could also be modified in some way in the raid to address concerns about "Forever 319" or just to have a chance for the new exotics to drop. (Those 3-of-Coins Shade of Oryx exotics could be awesome next week...)
TLDR: People have gotten burned in the past from unannounced loot changes within a patch, so instead of running the raid immediately at reset, instead delay your normal raid time by a day or half day if you want to wait for the patch to be launched.
